August is an eventful month for us. After all, there are many occasions lined up one after the other – it’s the birthday of my little daughter and also the birthday of Yours Truly. Furthermore, it is also the month for much looked forward to festival ‘Raksha Bandhan’. And, so I am always on the lookout for some special gifts for my daughter, return favours for her birthday party and gifts for her cousins and for my brother for Rakhi. I try to give something new and unique every year. This year, I am planning to give personalised gifts.
After all, the joy of receiving a gift with your name or picture on it or a gift customised to your taste and preference is quite something.
So, I found this lovely online website – Photojaanic that offer a wide range of products transform memories into reality. From wall picture frames to home décor, they have a plethora of options to choose from.
However, sticking to my theme of personalised gifts, I shortlisted a few gifting options:
For birthday gifts and return favours
Mugs: I have a picture mug which was given to me as a parting gift by my ex-colleagues on the last day of work in my previous company. Eight years later and that mug still holds an important place in my cupboard and heart. So, I guess a mug with a picture of my daughter on it would delight her to no end and she would happily gulp down her morning milk from it.
Stickers: This is an extremely useful feature, mothers. Wondering how? If you are anything like me and are looking for compliment cards to put on birthday gifts at the last minute, then these stickers are just for you. With these personalised stickers (you can have your child’s photo or name printed along with Thank You or Best Compliments), all you need to do is stick one on the gift or on return gifts, and your gift is sorted. You can also gift book labels as return gifts and every mother will thank you for the thoughtful gift.
Fridge magnets: For party favours, I am thinking of giving out gorgeous photo magnets. Kids love playing with magnets and a magnet with a picture of theirs would surely be a hit. All I need to do is invite mothers to send pictures of their kids, then send those pictures to Photojaanic and wait for the delivery. Ta da!
For Raksha Bandhan gifts
Playing cards: If your brother is fond of playing cards, this is just the gift for him. Get a personalised card set made with your brother’s fond memory or a childhood picture of you and your brother. It will be a pleasant walk down the memory lane whenever he plays with the cards.
Wine bottles: Gifting personalised wine bottles is also a cool idea. Last year, I had bought a premium wine bottle for my brother. He liked it of course, but with this wine bottle sticker, the gift would have stood out more. You can buy a wine bottle of your brother’s favourite brand and stick a customised wine bottle sticker.
I have also got something for me to gift myself on this birthday. It’s a mousepad. Usually, a book doubles up as my mousepad, but guess, it’s time I gifted myself a personalised one from Photojaanic. Which picture to put there? Mine, my daughter’s or one with me and my hubby? Or maybe I will choose a picture from our recent trip to Europe.
I think I am sorted as far as gifting is concerned for my daughter’s birthday and rakhi with these personalised gifts from Photojaanic.
What are you tempted to gift this festival season?
